Financial Support

Hardship Fund: We have created a small fund for use across the federation for anyone who may be struggling. Although we cannot provide cash, we can buy food vouchers, learning resources or other essentials and arrange for these to be delivered to you. All requests will be treated in the strictest of confidence, so please don’t hesitate to ask for help if you are in need - to request support, email headteacher@thevillagefederation.co.uk

Parentpay - if you would like to discuss a different payment plan for items in parentpay, please contact your school office.

Free School Meals: Please make sure you apply for free school meals. Details are on each school webpage and help with applications is available at each school office.

Local Foodbanks: The Elim Church runs a foodbank that no longer requires a referral – 01335 661237. The Jigsaw foodbank is supporting the villages within the Wirksworth Team Ministry (including Carsington, Hopton and Kirk Ireton) – to access this, please contact school to pass your details on to the foodbank.

Children’s Fund: The church  has access to a small children’s fund to help buy resources that you might need to support learning at home. If you are in need of this support, please email headteacher@thevillagefederation.co.uk.
