Curriculum - Computing
Intent
Our computing curriculum aims to provide a solid basis for future learning with ever=changing technologies and the ability to become confident digital citizens in the modern world. Computing skills enable children to be confident, creative, independent learners and so is taught across the federation both as a discreet subject and through the wider curriculum. We aim to develop a high quality, broad and balanced computing education through computer science, information technology and digital literacy as well as providing accessibility to the curriculum for many pupils. Internet Safety is a core element of computing, and this runs through all our children’s interactions with the digital world. We want children to develop as respectful, responsible and confident users of technology, ensuring they are able to keep themselves and others safe online.
